Hi, I’M Rose.

I'm a Bay Area native with a bright spirit and a passion for early childhood development and education through play. After completing several early human development courses, I understood the importance of nurturing those imperative childhood years, which led me to my fulfilling path as a child care provider. With over 10 years of experience as both a full time nanny and daycare provider I have worked with all ages.

I helped open, manage and operate The Willow Tree daycare in Oakland, CA. As a lead teacher there I was responsible for multiple activities such as cooking healthy meals, reading stories to the children, taking trips to the park, free play, setting up and assisting in arts and crafts, sensory play, education on letters, numbers, animals, and colors, and song and dance. My daily focus was on the children's learning, needs, play, and overall care. I make it a priority to continue to educate myself through reading, siminars, and courses.

I aim to provide a loving, fun, safe and expressive environment for the children. I am RIE and Reggio Emilia inspired I honor and respect interactions that lead to strong bonds, authentic development, and value each child as a unique human being.

As the oldest of five I am naturally nurturing, a good listener, patient, and enjoy taking care of others. I take pride in my ability to keep an organized space, remain aware of everyone's needs, while also keeping a playful and light energy. I believe a happy life is one of balance, so I strive to create harmony and a fun atmosphere on a daily basis where children can thrive.

I love to cook and create new healthy flavorful dishes. I am an adventurous eater and encourage the kids to try new fruits and vegetables with me. I also enjoy helping the children to learn through experience and exposure. Outside of child care you can find me spending time in my garden, with my pets, crafting, hiking, working out and going to the movies. I am a lover of all animals and our pet turtle Kale will surely make a guest visit.

I can't wait to meet you and your little one!

If we could see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything.
